Here are some more information for Vacation Deal:

Great Vacation Deals
By visiting 1 Stop Travel Directory, you will find many great vacation deals. If you plan to go on vacation, but you did not decide about the place, 1 Stop Travel Directory offers you a lot of suggestion. Just type some activities you would like to enjoy and select the region and you will have some ideas for your vacation.
You can find here information regarding many tourism attractions as well. One of these great places is at 150 kilometers from Toronto on Grey County’s 10th Concession Line, in Singhampton, Ontario, and it is known as Eigensinn Farm. Natures, the outdoors, community life, all provide opportunities for tourism development.
To passersby, the quaint little farmhouse and barn at the end of the long and rutted driveway does not look any different than the other farmhouses and barns that abound throughout the countryside of Canada. Home of Chef Michael Stadtlander, his wife, Nobuyo, and their son Hermann, this farmhouse has come to be one of the most praised restaurants in the world. Upon arrival, guests are invited to wander the farm and admire the livestock.
They roam about through the open land, enjoying the peaceful serenity of the country and letting the outside world with all its concerns melt away. In addition to the wildlife and animals present on the farm, there are also many different pieces of artwork, most created by the famous Chef himself. If you prefer a family-like atmosphere, this could be one of the best vacation deals. The family-like atmosphere is created by the fact that there are only a few reservations available for each dinner, and that there is no kitchen staff or waitress. At a price of $275 dollars a head, guests are served more than just dinner, and that is what keeps them coming back for more.
Another tourism attraction is in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As the world’s second largest natural harbor, and Canada’s gateway to the Atlantic Ocean, Halifax Harbor and this historic city make an excellent backdrop for the giant sails of the Tall Ships competing in the challenge. Not only visitors will have the chance to enjoy these amazing examples of nautical architecture, they will be able to explore the streets of Halifax, drinking in everything the downtown and harbor area has to offer. This is the fourth time that Tall Ships has come to Nova Scotia.
This year, it is the second to last stop on a race of more than 7,000 nautical miles, traversing the North Atlantic Ocean. Starting in Spain, the ships move on to the Canary Islands, then it’s off
across the ocean, setting their sails for Bermuda. Tentatively they will race to Chesapeake Bay before porting in Boston. From there, it’s up to Halifax, and, for the final leg of the race, over 2,300 nautical miles to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the grand finale celebrations are to be held. In Halifax celebrations over these four days include the 250th anniversary of the Naval Port. As ships sail out on Monday, July 20th they will partake in the Parade of Sails, a spectacular event not to be missed. Visitors to Tall Ships are invited to board these magnificent vessels. Crossing the gangway is like crossing into a different time.
There is something surreal about standing at the bow of these grand ships, the harbor on one side, a world away, and the ocean on the other, beckoning you to raise the sails and disappear into the horizon. It is a great way for the whole family to enjoy quality time together, discovering the beauty of the world’s finest Tall Ships, as well as exploring a bit of the city of Halifax. It is an amazing thing to be part of an international event that brings such history and such beauty to different ports throughout the Atlantic Ocean.
Plans have already been put into action to bring a great variety of fine entertainment to Halifax, adding to the appeal of this five-day festival. Visitors can also relax onshore and enjoy fine food at many of the area’s world-class restaurants and cafés. Anticipation mounts as all of Nova Scotia prepares to host this exciting event. All these predict one of the best vacation deals.

Is there a good website to get a deal on a Disney resort vacation?
My wife and I want to take our 4 year old to Disney World and stay at a Disney resort (Animal Kingdom) this summer. Is there a good website besides Disney that has deals on this type trip? I have looked at Disney's site and I can't help but imagine there is a site out there somewhere, or a travel agent, that can help us get the same trip at a better price.
With Disney you are going to find that most places you are go are going to offer you the same price. For example:
Disney direct: You will get the price that Disney offers. You can call in to take care of things you need on your reservations and talk to their agents to ask a few questions and things. However, the agents aren't always the most friendly and/or most knowledgeable. While they do offer some help, they don't usually offer an excess of information.
Online dicounters such as Travelocity and Expedia: Some say that you can save a little money with these sites, to be honest I've never seen it. If you want to do a room only, you can usually get a better rate with Disney or a travel agent. I checked a few months back using these sites, Disney and my travel agent, and these sites actually cost more than I could find else where, without a discount from Disney. Also, the biggest problem is that you are on your own with these sites. If you ask questions and such they usually aren't much help. Also, contacting a human with these sites can take hours to get someone. In my opinion, not the best way to go.
Travel agent: This is how I book all my trips and from what I have found the best way to go. Most travel agents offer the exact same prices as Disney, no more, no less. However, they are always there to answers questions, help with planning, etc. Rather than being on your own, you have some help with the planning. It is also nice because you don't have to spend all your time searching around for all the info you need and possibly finding wrong or old information. Also, most agents that specialize in Disney will also book dining, tours, etc. So that saves you more time as well. I've found that agents also offer information and tips that will end up saving you money in the long run.
I would definitely not book with sites like Travelocity or Expedia, you may end up regretting that decision if you choose to go that way. You lose out on a lot of benefits when booking with them as well, one of the biggest is that you don't have the option to get the dining plan Disney offers. For you and your wife the plan is $38.99 per person, per day and for your child is is only $10.99. It is a great plan and can save you up to 40%. Plus, tax and tip is included, it is a great way to go.
I'm not sure of when you are actually planning to go. However, if you are a little flexible you should consider going during the free dining dates. This could save you quite a bit of money and you would get your dining included. So if you can, that is going to be the best offer you can find. Disney really does not offer a promotion that is better than the free dining. For most dates, except holidays and summer dates, Disney offers a promotion of some sort. You just have to keep an eye out for when they become available. So far they have offered the promotions through the 22nd of September.
One final thing, I'm not sure if you are aware of this. But, Disney is doing construction at Animal Kingdom now because they are beginning the building of their villas. Disney says that you will be able to see and hear the construction. Since you are wanting this to be extra special and you are probably spending a little more than you want, I want you to be aware of the situation just so you don't have a surprise when you get there.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me. I go to Disney all the time (I just got back a few days ago) and I'm happy to help
“Betty” Provides Vacation From Sanity
The title of Christopher Durang’s “Betty’s Summer Vacation,” staged at the Long Beach Playhouse Studio Theatre, seems anodyne enough: respite from city heat, crowds and care.
