The Right Way to Shop for Luggage
The luggage industry has become inundated with competitors, like Travelpro luggage, who all have the same goal in mind: creating the most popular piece of luggage on the market. How do you find a good piece of luggage though? Is there anything you can do to find the best luggage out there? The answer is absolutely. Picking the right luggage can make your traveling life a pleasure. Don't get stuck in a vacation nightmare, get the facts before you select the perfect pieces of luggage for you.
Although it's always nice to support the underdog in a competitive industry, luggage is all about tried and true quality. Companies such as Travelpro luggage understand the needs of their consumers and have years of success to back them up. Picking a company who has been around for awhile will definitely pay off when your luggage reaches 5 or 10 years in age. The names you recognize should be the ones you want to look into a bit more. There is a reason these companies dominate the market place: they give exceptional quality at an affordable price. What else can you ask for in a piece of luggage?
Once you have your list of luggage companies before you, it's time to hit the computer. The online world has done a terrific job at providing a wide variety of consumer and company reviews on every product imaginable. For companies such as Travelpro luggage, it will be a cinch to find the consumer reviews you are looking for. Even though it's better to look at brighter side of life, this is the time to look for the dark side. Read every negative comment that is posted. What were the problems these consumers had with their suitcases? Was it the same problem across the board? Are the negative reviews more concentrated on one line or piece of luggage? After you've done your negative research, look at the positives. What good qualities about the luggage did everyone happen to love? Did one line excel more than the others?
Like Travelpro luggage, most carriers have different lines of luggage they offer to the general public. From the light weight and affordable to the executive and luxurious, you can get anything you want when it comes to luggage. Your next stop is to a luggage store. Look over all the different brands you have decided on in person. Seeing these pieces of luggage in person can definitely give you a better idea if you will like them or not. This doesn't mean you have to buy the luggage right there and then! In fact, it's often a better idea to go online and search through carriers who carry Travelpro luggage or other brands. Chances are, you will find a much cheaper price than at a store! Most of these dealers even offer free shipping, making your online shopping experience much more enjoyable.
No matter if you decide to go with one of the industry's best, like Travelpro luggage, or Heys USA luggage, take the time to shop for luggage the right way. With such an expensive purchase at hand, buying luggage isn't a decision to be made lightly.

Which handbag/messenger bag/briefcase/luggage brands are the most popular among business...?
...executives?
My own list as a sample answer:
Handbag: Tumi
Messenger bag: Tumi
Briefcase: Travelpro
Luggage: Baggallini.
Thank you.
You cover a lot of ground--messenger bags, briefcases, luggage, and handbags. And, you don't specify male or female executive.
At a high level, I would agree with you that Tumi is definitely a popular brand for many executives, at least over the past 10-15 years. Previously, you had brands like Hartmann and Atlas cases.
It is relatively easy to see a large spectrum of bags for male executives. In the era of portable computers, these all need to be able to carry laptops. Tumi is certainly top of mind. If you want to see where I have gone to shop for many years in NYC, go to this website:
http://www.crouchandfitzgerald.com/
But, finding a good quality, functional, and fashionable "briefcase" for women executives is harder. Take a look at these websites:
http://www.mobileedge.com/products_her.asp?cid=6&scid=6
http://www.squidoo.com/laptopbag
As for handbags, I won't even go there. There are dozens sold by each of 5 stores on almost every block of NYC. I would imagine a female executive on Madison Avenue (advertising industry) or in the cosmetics or perfume industry would employ different attire from executives at banks or lawfirms.
Luggage is also full of options. Tumi and Hartmann stand out. There are of course numerous high end brands. Go to the above Crouch & Fitzgerald site.
