Will I have any problems if I make my 2008 Hardrock Pro with 130mm travel instead of 100mm?

More than likely, no. That said, what you need to worry about more than the travel of the fork is the "axle to crown" height, which is quite obviously the length between the axle and the fork's crown.

When bikes are designed, they're designed to accomodate a certain length of fork for the frames geometry to be correct... fork height can affect things like head-tube angle and bottom bracket height, etc.

When I upgraded the fork on my XC bike, I went from a 100mm travel to a 140mm travel but the actual axle to crown height only increased 10mm so the affect on the bikes geometry and handling were negligible. If the axle to crown change was 40mm though, that would have really changed the handling of the bike.

Find out the range of axle to crown lengths specified for your frame and just make sure that the new fork's length falls into that. If its longer, it will make the bike more stable and less twitchy at speed but less nimble and responsive at slower speeds. If its only slightly longer, the effect will be very minimal but how much you notice it really depends on how you ride. If you're a climber, you may not want to do it... If you're more of a descender then a little more slack geometry might actually be preferable.
