Hanging over the ocean, a net made of sand,
Swaying and rolling, rocked by the ocean’s hand.
Palm tree blocks the sun, the rays from my eyes,
While the leaves silhouette against clear blue skies.
And I’m left in desolation, alone except for my hat,
Waiting for the world to change, a perfect island matte.
And the only thing left in the ocean, a boat, bound to set sail,
A child’s toy in a bath tub, emblazoned “The Holy Grail”
