For example do you think some mums judge others who give solids at 4 months but really fed it to her own at the same age?

I think there are a lot of good people here but a lot of people can be rude and judgmental also and shouldn't post if they are going to be like that, there's really no need for it and it's just bad manners.
I think this is a good place to learn things but if it's something really important you can always double check answers by asking the doctor family and friends, or doing a search on the internet.
I doubt every mother is perfect, even if they claim they are or make out to be! If it's your first baby, you are learning as you go along, you can't possibly know it all.
