Is there anyone who has gone through the us security at airports ?Do I keep my wallet with my money in it?

I dont trust anyone with my wallet,mjust feel secure with it in my pocket and my passport too..I will have my money in it.Traveling to jakarta Indonesia tomorrow from orlando international airport
thank you if you really can help me out on this.I have been hearing i can leave my wallet and passport in my front pockets through security gate,and some cant,so which way on this really need to know.

I have travelled within the US and Europe in the last few years....I've never had to take my wallet out of my pocket at security, ever (unless of course I need to take my ID out). I've done both with my passport, put it in my bin or left it in my pocket, no ones ever bothered me about that either, although the newer passports do have a chip in them.
