Norton safe indicators have disappeared!?

I use Norton 360 security and just recently the safe indicators (green ticks that show a web site is safe) have disappeared. How can I get them back please?
Thanks for your answer. I did run live update but the green ticks are still not there. I don't understand what has happened to make them disappear either.
