What are they doing with CM Punk?

Does anybody got any idea what WWE is planning to do with CM Punk? First, they have him win MITB, one of the biggest pushes they can give outside of a championship, then he loses to Chris Jericho the next night on RAW.
They have him tap out to William Regal in the King of the Ring. I know Regal is getting a big push right now, but don't you think that the MITB winner shouldn't roll over for William Regal? If anything, they should be trying to build Punk up.
Now he loses to the Miz on the latest ECW. What is kind of surprising is that he lost cleanly to all these guys. He was pinned by Jericho and Miz, and Jericho and Regal made him submit.
Now, CM Punk obviously only got the briefcase because Jeff Hardy got suspended. However, with Hardy back, and looking like he's not going to get buried, do you think they will have Jeff win the MITB from Punk?
