Why do casinos in Las Vegas like Hooters, Casino Royale and Tropicana refuse to give REAL free slot play?

Hooters is the worst. Because they are not right off the strip, their scam actually is pretty genius. They walk up and down the strip with bright collered billboards attached to their bodies that say "$100 IN FREE SLOT PLAY!" Casino Royale advertises their "$50 IN FREE SLOT PLAY!" Then Tropicana wants you to give them $20 for $50 in "FREE SLOT PLAY!". When you get to use your free slot play, you learn its a scam to get you into the casino. Harrahs, Cesears, Planet Hollywood, Rio, Encore, Wynn and all the other casinos give you REAL slot play. At the two mentioned casinos above, hooters and casino royale, you have to use ONE PROMOTIONAL machine and the ONLY way you win money is if you land on JACKPOT. They dont give you crap otherwise. The other casinos in Vegas, you can use at any machine (some limit you to non progressive but some casinos allow u to use your free slot play on progressives to. Anyone else been a victim to this scam in Vegas?

You are correct. It is just their way to get you inside their casino. I think we have all been suckered into any of their offers. The Tropicana especially with the giant slot machine out front. Winning the free gift which is usually a deck of used cards that you have to stand in line, fill out forms and wait a half hour to get. The page of coupons you get are only worth something to perhaps a first time visitor if that. For great free slot play you have to be a local at any of the local casinos far off the strip. I get $70 free play almost every month from one of them plus free gifts plus on certain days 5X the points. I eat for free and gamble for free and it doesn't cost me a cent of my money each month. I guess we live and learn.
