Would it be allright for me to wear an granny loafer with my gown to a wedding reception?

I'm going to a wedding in 3 weeks and its going to be in buckhead Atlanta which is in Georgia. My cousin is getting married and her reception is going to be at this very nice & big hotel in buckhead atlanta. My gown that i'm planning to wear is an knee length pink sleeveless dress gown and my hair is going to be curled up, would it look allright to wear an granny loafer to the wedding reception ?? I've got some pink and red granny loafers, which one would be better ?? Would it be better to wear a loafer or a croc?? I got 2 toddlers so i mostly have to try to keep up with them. I've worn laofers a couple of times to work but i never worn them to a wedding before. Could anyone tell me would it be allright to wear an granny loafer with my gown ?? I've really don't know what to wear.
