I'm moving to Florida, HELP!?
I've live in new york all 19 years of my life and now my family is moving to florida. What are some of the laws and things to know down there? They're moving to orlando, kissimmee, or saint cloud i believe. Do you have seat belt laws? Are radar detectors illegal there? Do you need car insurance? How much does car registration cost? What is the minimum wage there? Can you tint your windows as dark as you want? Does your car need to get inspected yearly? What is the avg. utility bill like for a family of 5? we have village water and electric so our bills are usually under $100. Any other things that you might think would be different from new york please share. Oh and not to get confused, I'm from new york the state, not the city. People always hear new york and automatically think the city. Thanks for any and all help!!!
