Deshnok Temple

This is one of the most interesting temples on this earth, which was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the 20th century. It is an abode of rats, which are considered the incarnations of goddess Karni who live here at one point of time. There are around 20, 000 rats in the temple which are locally known as kabbas. Here the rats don't harm anyone and it is amazing that in spite of the presence of so many rats, this place never had any incidence of plague or any rat-related disease.

Camel Festival

For real taste of Bikaner, visit the city during the famous Camel Festival which is held in January every year. Camel sports, dance and music and traditional cuisine are the main highlights of the festival. The sight of the camels decorated from head to toe is truly mesmerizing. Also go for desert safari in Bikaner.
