All natural diet for my Mini Rex Bunny ?? HELP?

I have a mini rex male rabbit. I also have horses but not too sure about my rabbit. He has a sensitive stomach and vet has recomended an all natural diet. I have him on all day all you can eat hay. Plus he gets romaine lettus, carrots, clovers,apples,broccli,spinage, hand picks grass /roots and he goes out in his grassy pen every day (that it is not rainning) Is he getting a compleat diet or should i put him back on grain pelets. He seems happy with it but i dont know.. any bunny owners that feed a all natural diet that consist all you can eat hay and veggys

My first question is why did your vet say that your bunny has a sensitive tummy? Did he have diarrhea or something? It seems a little strange to me... and if it was diarrhea it could have been caused by a number of things, not just a sensitive tummy.
The diet you have for him now sounds fine, as long as he is not getting too fat. Be care full with the lettuce though. There are some kinda of lettuce that will kill a rabbit. If he has been doing well on the romain you have been feeding him, that is OK, but that could be what is upsetting his tummy. I'd try taking away the lettuce to see how he does.
Putting your rabbit back on grain pellets should be fine. Do it slowly so that it doesn't shock his system, but grain pellets are a source of natural food. The only difference is that it has been dried and preserved a lot like your hay. The pellets may also have some added vitamins and minerals your rabbit needs. If you don't already have a salt block for him, that would be a good idea too. Keep feeding him a few fresh veggies or grass and he should be fine. Keep an eye on how fat he gets though. Mini Rex rabbits tend to get over weight very quickly.
