West Maui Condos in Lahaina?
I am booking a condo in Lahaina through vrbo and most of the condos say limit 4-6 people. I have 8 in my party and I know we can all fit in one condo. From anyone's experience, is it possible to "sneak" in 2 more people without the owner or management of the property knowing? I'm either going to the maui eldorado, kaanapali shores, kaanapali royal or any other condo in the neighboring area.
It is sometimes possible to sneak in extra people in a condo. It is also sometimes possible to steal things from stores. Either way, you are taking something without paying for it.
Each condo is individually owned. In other words, those condos that you are staying in are not owned by some big hotel company. (The companies you arrange rental from are just management companies who get about 50% of the rent in exchange for arranging rentals and management and check-in check-out cleaning.) Each condo in the building is owned by a private person or family, who is renting it out to you when they are not using it, in order to help defray their costs of owning the condo, such as maintenance, repairs, taxes, insurance, mortgage payements, etc. The property owner has a right to limit how many people can use his/her condo, for the amount of money he/she is charging in rent. Putting more people in the condo than you are paying for, is no different than stealing the TV in the condo when you leave.
There are photos and reviews of the condos you are considering, plus many others on Maui, on the Hotels-Condos tab of
