How could you prevent the leather interior & the dash board from cracking/chipping or deteriorating due to the

sun or harsh enviroment ? My car stays parked outside under direct sun light & usually my leather seats/dash board dries up chips & cracks. How could i prevent it ?

Do not use Armor-All or any other type silicone-based products on your dash, because: 1) these products prevent the plastic from breathing and releasing heat in extreme temperatures, which will cause cracking 2) the off-gassing of the silicone will build up a gummy film on the inside of your windscreen, limiting vision and is difficult to clean off completely. Armor-All will ruin leather, and once applied to leather cannot be completely removed.
