Another great place to shop for Kona Hawaii products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Kona Hawaii: Kona in the north western hot spot of Hawaii and is home to many beautiful and not to be missed tourist stops during your trip to the big island. It is not only the commerce center of Hawaii, but also the center of Hawaii's tourist industry. It's hard to believe that this once docile and quiet fishing town was home to very few until the tourism boom of the late 1900's. Kona still holds some of its old charm despite being a busy center in one of Hawaii's fastest growing districts. Everyone from young and old can enjoy the amazing surroundings that Kona has to offer. The Sadie Seymour Botanical Gardens is a 1.5 acre wonder which is located on the grounds of the Kona Outdoor Circle Educational Center. I've been to few gardens that were this large and it made a flower lover out of me in an instant. The gardens were designed by landscape architect Scott Seymour on a wedge-shaped plot, and named in honor of his mother. If you're traveling with your husband or 20 something children then they would be more than delighted to visit the famous Kona Brewing Company. The Kona Brewing Company is an award-winning microbrewery which offers tours and of course free samples along the way! I really enjoyed the beer as I rarely get a taste of a brew that comes from Hawaii where I live. If you want to get a taste of what it was like to be Hawaiian royalty then make a visit to the Hulihee Palace. It is a former vacation home of Hawaiian royalty and is now a museum which offers a very unique look into life of island royalty. The palace was built in the mid 1800's and keeps every ounce of charm and design of the era. I hope you enjoy your visit to Kona, or if you've been thinking about stopping in on your trip to Hawaii, then I highly recommend this district. If you're traveling to Kona and need a car you can compare prices for Kona car rentals. If you and the family are headed to Hawaii, a Hawaii fishing trip is an experience not to be missed. What’s great is that there are boat tours to match your needs no matter what they may be – whether you’re looking for a day trip with the kids, floating just off-shore or whether you’re looking to get away from it all far out on the ocean blue. Picking the Fishing Trip that Best Suits your Needs If you are planning on taking your kids, the option called a “bottom fishing” trip may be your best choice. This means that the boat will take you into water roughly 60-180ft deep, usually not more than 100 miles off-shore, and that you’ll be fishing for the species which live along the ocean floor. Generally, you’ll be targeting species such as Opelu, Snapper, Weke, Akule, Ta’ape, Menpachi, Bonefish, Moana and Ulua. If you have a little more time and gumption, you might consider taking a deep sea fishing trip off the coast of Kauai or the Big Island. This affords you the opportunity to reel in much larger species such as Mahi Mahi, Ono, various Tuna species, Short Nose Spearfish, Striped, Blue, and Black Marlin – just to name a few. Who knows, you may get lucky and break the state record held by a 1,205 lb Black Marlin caught off the coast of Kona! What else is on the included on the fishing boat? Most boats will provide you with all the equipment and training you’ll need, so you won’t have to worry about that end of the planning. All you’ll generally need to bring is your own sunscreen, towel, suit and motion sickness medication if you need it. No matter how you end up doing it, your Hawaii fishing trip is sure to be an adventure you’ll never forget, so book early, stay late, and go home happy! Any car rental place in kona hawaii that do not charge extra if you are 23? Im going to kona and cant find anyplace that does not charge an additional $25 a day because im 23 years old. Please help
Most companies charge the underage fee to anyone under 25. The only exceptions that I know of would be a federal government employee, USAA member (with some companies) and if the company that you work for has a corporate account with the car rental company and have arranged for the underage fee to be waived for their employees. Hope this helps! Shaving costs of summer travel to Hawaii Thanks for visiting!

Hawaii Fishing – Fun for the Whole Family
The first thing you need to consider when planning your Hawaii fishing trip is what kind of game you’re after. There are some species you can catch right off shore, but you’ll increase your options by venturing out onto the deeper waters.
Of course, this depends on what kind of boat you charter, but it’s not uncommon to have such amenities as hot and cold fresh water, showers, restrooms, private cabins and even BBQ lunches in which you’ll get to eat the very fish you’ve caught! What’s more, your captain may even have a hydrophone so that you can listen to the whales singing (assuming you’re there during the right season, of course.)
Often daunting -- especially since the costs can't be split across several people the way renting a condo or car can -- airfares to Hawai'i from Northern California are showing a little more leeway in pricing this summer than last.
