The gardens were designed by landscape architect Scott Seymour on a wedge-shaped plot, and named in honor of his mother.

If you're traveling with your husband or 20 something children then they would be more than delighted to visit the famous Kona Brewing Company. The Kona Brewing Company is an award-winning microbrewery which offers tours and of course free samples along the way! I really enjoyed the beer as I rarely get a taste of a brew that comes from Hawaii where I live.

If you want to get a taste of what it was like to be Hawaiian royalty then make a visit to the Hulihee Palace. It is a former vacation home of Hawaiian royalty and is now a museum which offers a very unique look into life of island royalty. The palace was built in the mid 1800's and keeps every ounce of charm and design of the era.

Of course, this depends on what kind of boat you charter, but it’s not uncommon to have such amenities as hot and cold fresh water, showers, restrooms, private cabins and even BBQ lunches in which you’ll get to eat the very fish you’ve caught! What’s more, your captain may even have a hydrophone so that you can listen to the whales singing (assuming you’re there during the right season, of course.)

Most boats will provide you with all the equipment and training you’ll need, so you won’t have to worry about that end of the planning. All you’ll generally need to bring is your own sunscreen, towel, suit and motion sickness medication if you need it.

Any car rental place in kona hawaii that do not charge extra if you are 23?

Im going to kona and cant find anyplace that does not charge an additional $25 a day because im 23 years old. Please help

Most companies charge the underage fee to anyone under 25. The only exceptions that I know of would be a federal government employee, USAA member (with some companies) and if the company that you work for has a corporate account with the car rental company and have arranged for the underage fee to be waived for their employees.
