Festivals in Hawaii and Hotels in Hawaii

Hawaii has numerous public holidays and a mass of annual festivals and events. The list is far too numerous to be listed and dates do change slightly from year to year. The main festivals are:

February is the month of Makaha World Surfing Championship, Oahu. This is very popular championship in Oahu. March is the month of 26th - Prince Kuhio Day - state-wide. In April, O'Neill Windsurfing, Ho'okipa, Maui Merrie Monach Festival, Hilo, Big Island is celebrated. Every month in Hawaii there is a festival and its very interesting for those who love to visit different countries and want to see their culture. That’s why tourists love to go to Hawaii. And for their hospitality hotels in Hawaii and their staff are always ready for hospitality. As a tourist spot Hawaii is popular and its islands are amazing.

On 1st May, in Hawaii it’s celebrated as Lei Day. Like this, 11th June is known as Kamehameha Day. 4th July is celebrated as Parker Ranch rodeo, Waimea, Big Island Koloa Plantation Days week long, Koloa, Kaua'I. In August International Billfish Tournament, is organized. September is the month of Queen Lili'uokalani Canoe Races, Kailua, and Big Island and also food festival is organized in Lahaina by the name of a taste of Lahaina. October is celebrated as Ironman Triathalon in Big Island. In November, Aloha Classic Windsurfing is organized in Maui and World Invitation Hula Festival, Honolulu, Oahu also Triple Crown of Surfing, North Shore, Oahu. And on the last month which is December Triple Crown of Surfing, North Shore and Honolulu Marathon is organized in Oahu.

The Kona Coffee Festival is Hawaii’s oldest and popular festival which held over a two-week period. Though hotels in Hawaii are popular but its festivals are also important too. This festival is held in Kailua-Kona during early November. The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is recognized as the oldest and most successful product festival in Hawaii and is the only coffee festival in the United States. This 10-day festival is filled with more than 30 community events honor the multi-ethnic heritage of Kona coffee pioneers and their gourmet brews.

In case of hospitality, hotels in Hawaii are best in their job. Staffs of hotels are so efficient in all the hotels in Hawaii that you cannot regret that why have you come here and money which has spent is not worth.

Hotels in Hawaii are popular but with those islands are popular too. In Hawaii there are so many beautiful places which you can see and most importantly its adventurous trip too. The official color of Hawai'i is red. Hawaii's flower is the Red Lehua (Ohia).

From hotels to islands to festivals, everything is so popular of Hawaii that I can say you should definitely visit this place with your family and enjoy your best time there.

What clothes to bring to Hawaii, October 2nd - 12th?

Would shorts or skirts be ok for daytime and early evening?

My plan is to bring, shorts, capris and skirts (no jeans) and just bring a couple long sleeve sweater type things to wrap in if it is cold.

Should I wear sleeves to a Luau?
I live in a pretty cold climate most of the time

If where you live is 'pretty cold' most of the time, Hawaii will feel like a blast of heat to you! It is still quite warm here in October, so the things you plan to pack are fine. If you're anything like me (I LIVE in shorts), bring more shorts and fewer capris. One light sweater will be enough. Take your sweater to the luau, but I doubt you'll need it. Tie it around your waist or shoulders or leave it on the back of your chair. Sleeveless or cap sleeved shirts are fine just about everywhere. Hawaii caters to tourists so unless you plan to dine in a 5-star restaurant, the clothes you have chosen will be fine wherever you plan to eat. Very few restaurants in Hawaii have a dress code that requires more than a blouse and skirt or pants for women/shirt and pants for men. Some places don't allow jeans or shorts, but those are the really high-end places.

Have a great time!

The world's strongest earthquakes
Here is a list of deadly earthquakes that registered at least an 8.5 magnitude, not including the 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck central Chile early Saturday.
