Internet branding is essentially your business’ identity on the Internet.  It’s not just your logo, your fonts and colors, your slogan and your mascot.  Your reputation is the most important part of your branding.  Your reputation is what all this imagery MEANS to the customer.  If your reputation is one of quality, then your logo means quality.  If you have a shoddy reputation, your logo is scarcely more than a scarlet letter.

Exposure is how well you’ve put out your branding.  The more places your logo is placed, the more people will see it.  This also goes for your search engine rankings.  If you’re on the front page, you have an awesome amount of exposure.  All you have to do is reel them in now.

Branding and exposure work together to bring traffic.  It now becomes the job of your squeeze page to create conversions.  It also is part of your branding, so take care to make it the best squeeze page you can.  This is where the magic happens.  Now that you’ve brought in the traffic, you have to convince them to either opt in to your mailing list, buy your product, or both.  

Too many times have otherwise well-executed advertising campaigns fallen apart at this point.  It could be something as technical as an element of the web page that turns them off, or it could be something as simple as not having both PayPal and credit card payments available.  Don’t let this page kill your campaign.

Do you find shy people annoying and rude?

I have just been moved to a new room in my office. The boss told me beforehand that the people in there were 'shy but nice'. Well they redefine shy. I'm not the life and soul but OMG. Two of the three people I work with are silent the whole day. It's like sitting with extra terrestrials. I asked the girl next to me if I could borrow the stapler and it was like I had just asked her for a shag or something, she went scarlet. I have been there a week and I want to scream. I find these shy people so annoying and quite frankly rude. My room is like a morgue.
Did they ever consider that a sociable atmosphere helps ME get through MY day and not saying anything at all is RUDE?

This really sounds very extreme to me. It is okay for people to be shy. But when you have to work with someone who makes you feel uncomfortable because you have asked them something that is related to your job (eg could I borrow the stapler), this is not acceptable. If the people you work with do not want to have small talk that is fine. But there is a standard for office etiquette, if you say good morning you should receive the same in return. If you enquire about something that is related to your job in the office people should respond appropriately. I suggest you keep on with your work be polite do not ask personal questions and maybe in time they may get curios and start asking you questions. You could bring in cakes or donuts to share or have a bag of candy. The best thing is for you to worry about your own life not everyone wants to communicate. Remember you are also the new kid on the block. Enjoy your work and get the best you can from it. good luck
