Trafalgar Tours European Escapade
Over the next 3 weeks I will be making daily entries about Trafalgar's European Escapade Tour. If this is the Trafalgar Tour you have chosen to do that's great as you can see day to day what will happen and I hope become even more excited about the adventure you will soon embark upon.
Perhaps you have chosen another Trafalgar Tour or are in the process of making that decission, then these entries will be of some help to you because I am also covering things like the airport transfers. In many cases we will be visiting some or all of the cities on the tour you have booked or are thinking about.
Last night when I arrived into London Heathrow airport I made my way to the Dot 2 Dot desk in Terminal 3 and asked how the transfers will work this year. I then made a brief video of the arrival proceedure and am in the process of uploading it to the www.affordablecruisestours.com site. You will find it under Videos > European Escapade on the left side navigation menu, or follow this link Trafalgar Tours Arrival Transfer.
There are Dot 2 Dot arrival desks in all Heathrow Terminals except Terminal 2. In Terminal 2 there will be a Dot 2 Dot or Trafalgar representative around the arrivals area so keep an eye out for them. Once you have collected your luggage from the arrivals terminal put the big bright red Trafalgar tags you will find in your Trafalgar documentation on you suit cases and have your arrival transfer voucher handy as you will need it. Then make your way from the arrivals hall into the terminal building.
- After a long overnight flight 20 minutes can seem like 20 hours so be patient and perhaps use the time to grab a coffee or change money.
After a short time the transfer mini bus will bring you to your Trafalgar hotel.
The next voucher you will need is your pre tour accommodation voucher so have it handy as it will facilitate a quick check-in. One important thing to remember is London hotels are like most around the world and have a check in between 12 midday and 2 pm. If you arrive early I suggest leaving your bags with reception and getting out for a few hours or the rest of the day.
Going to your room and falling asleep is not good for jet lag, staying out and getting acliamatised to the weather and time is much better for you. Have an earlyish dinner and get to bed at a reasonable hour. Tomorrow is a big day.

Does anyone else think that the marketing of Hannah Montana has gone too far?
I have seen dolls, luggage, t shirts, shampoo, video games, lip gloss, the official Hannah Montana wig, granola bars, and the beat all end all hannah montana underwear.
What's next? Are we gonna have sweet niblet scented condoms with the little purple star on them? Ribbed and dotted so you get the best of both worlds.....
I don't mind her, but I find it a bit nauseating to see her face at every turn. I'm in Australia for crying out loud and she's STILL everywhere.
Yesterday I went shopping for groceries and there were Hannah Montana clocks and toys plastered up in the toy/stationary isle.
Actually she's on my TV right now. My sort of step daughter is watching her show. I'd rather she watch Hannah than Lindsey or some of the other little tramps but for everyones sake, including Hannah's it would be better if she wasn't everywhere.
