Sims 2 Deluxe keeps freezing?

Ok you know when the game starts loading its normla,but when it gets to "replacing wheel bearings" it stops and the music keeps repeating. i am pretty sure its not the downloads because i checked.

Your compuer may be very low on memory. Sims takes up a lot of memory to work as fast as you want it to. Especially if you download stuff to go onto it or with it.
