How do I build my own Aeroplane? Like Cessanae 2 Seater.?

I want to build aeroplane, which can fly attitude of 1600 meter to 2400 meter, which have range of at least 200 Not.Miles speed is not neccesary or prirority, but plane must safely takeoff & land. This Arial Vehical must have at least 2 seats. Must fit into DCDA (Indian Aeronotical) norms. Plane must be compact and must take short run fot takeoff as this plane is mostly going to use in hill area of Indian Mountain range. Plane Must face bad wheather as area where this plane suppose to fly is havy mansoon region. Plane must easy to operate as common farmer also able to fly this plane as we used to drive car. Next step is going to Unmanned Arial Vehical(UAV) based on earlier Desigen and this UAV is upgraded with ground controled remote senssing device. Other norms and feature remain same as greatest extend possible.

Im surprised that nobody knows what and ultralight aircraft is. they just made fools of themselves thinking that they know everything.

Most are built to american standards. I know for sure that in india the requirements are more relaxed and the performance can be higher.

An american ultralight aircraft is 250lbs or less when empty without fluids or safety and landing equipment.
They cannot have more than 5 gallons of fuel, but that can be upgraded, just worry about the extra 6lbs a gallon.
They may not fly faster than 65mph, but most are anyway.

There are also a large array of experimental class aircraft that dont meet the requirements of an ultralight. Its not hard to get one approved, just a few calls and a simple inspection. But then again, thats the US, not india, which is very relaxed.

Personally, Im a pilot and I think ultralights are great. they are alot more fun to use in your spare time than a cessna, but are far cheaper to use.
They have a huge wing area for their weight, about 5-10lbs for every square foot of wing compared to 100lbs for very square foot of wing for a jet.
Because they have such large wings, they take off very quickly. I have seen one take off in a field about the size of a football field. that should not be hard to find in india.
They are easy to land because they have a very very slow stall speed, about 1/2 of a cessna 172.

About the altitude, flying above 1500 meters is not good because it reduces performance of the engine. Also, I am not sure if india has restrictions on airspace, like the 650 meter class g airspace in the US. You may need to be issued a identification number for you aircraft in order to fly in caertain areas.

About an engine, you will want an engine that can operate with the type of fuel that you can access. some fuels are to low quality to keep a normal engine running, and some will only run on 100 octane gas.

Costwise, it should cost about 450,000rupees if the prices are the same in india as in the US.
