I have a compact computer and i want to get the wep password so i can connect wireless with my lab top

It's not on your computer, it's on your router. You have to set it up yourself. If you don't know what it is, log on to your router and set up a new one.

If your ISP configured your wireless system and won't allow you to change the settings, you'll have to get it from your ISP. Many use the MAC address of the DSL modem/router for the WEP key though so try that first. It's on a label on the modem/router. It's a 12-digit hex number, meaning that it uses numbers 0 - 9 and letters A - F. It may look like this:

or this:

000D560794A4

or this:

00:0D:56:07:94:A4
