A Used Cars Rochester Shopping Experience

I bought a late model used car in Rochester NY recently, and I wanted to share my experience with you, in the hopes that you might benefit from what I learned. Not only did I wind up purchasing from a dealership I never expected to visit, I found that all used car dealerships are definitely not created equal.

I started out on the West side of Rochester, on used car row West Ridge Road. there, I visited several of the small, specialized used car dealerships that the area is known for. I quickly discovered that, while these small shops had a decent selection of clean, low mileage cars and trucks, there was a wide variation in the level of service. Quite frankly, I just wasn't comfortable, and I was unsure who to trust. trust is a huge factor when buying a used car or truck.

From the smaller used car stores, I decided to check out some of the larger, franchised dealerships along the West Ridge Road corridor. Names like Doan, Ralph, and Bob Johnson are familiar to most Rochesterians, and once I started visiting them I found myself in more comfortable surroundings. These dealerships have good reputations, excellent service departments, and really good selection. Even though I didn't make a deal there, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them.

Next, I headed over to the East side of town, near the village of Fairport. I visited a dealership with an excellent reputation, Hoselton. I experienced professional treatment and found a couple of vehicles I liked, but unfortunately they just weren't in my price range.

Finally, on the advice of my uncle, a consummate used car buyer, I visited Valley Cadillac-HUMMER on Winton Road. On my own, I might never have thought to visit there, because they are a luxury car dealer, and I don't consider myself a luxury car buyer. If that's you, I urge you not to let that mindset keep you away from Valley. They treat ALL buyers like luxury car buyers, and it's a wonderful experience, I can tell you. I found a great car, at a great price, and their service was second to none.

Shawn Bradley, he was underrated, right?

I thought he got alot of negative attention during his time in the league. Frankly, I think he's borderline Hall of Fame. What is your take?

He is borderline Hall of Fame if you talking about a border the size of the Atlantic Ocean. AMIRITE. Dood i don't know if you realize how BAD shawn braldley was. Sure he's on a lot of posters but it's him getting sat on by good ball players. He was a tall piece of matter. Peope who could move their bodies in a coordinated way could get around him easy.
