ive been looking and your right LG have a great selection. I've also been looking at the Samsung Jet & Samsung Tocco Lite. I like the look of both, but it seems that the Jet does not have a usb, is this right?
Sounds like you need a smart phone. There is the LG VU, the LG Xenon. Those are the first two that popped up in my head, also the iPhone! Maybe search around @ http://www.wireless.att.com or whatever your phone company is! There are many phones to choose from, though I recommend you not to get an LG phone.
