Another great place to shop for Baseball Glove products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Baseball Glove: The game of baseball continues to fascinate North Americans as they watch and participate in the game of baseball. More and more people are playing baseball than ever before. And this means buying a new baseball glove, which isn't often an easy task. A new baseball glove is stiff and hard to bend when you first buy it. This means that you need to break in your new glove so that it fits your hand and gives you the game that you want to have, without fumbling with your new glove. However, buying a new glove doesn't mean that it's going to take you a long time to break it in. There are some things that you can do to speed up the process of breaking in your new glove. One of the first things that you want to do is wear the glove as often as you can. While wearing the glove make sure that you toss a training ball into it whenever you can. This will help to break in the glove so that when you're actually on the baseball field you'll have feel for how the glove catches balls and you'll also be able to catch those balls much easier. There are oils that are available to keep your glove oiled however, no matter how much it is recommended, you should never oil your baseball glove more than two or three times each year. Too much oiling of your glove will cause the leather to break down much too quickly. Another tried and true way to break in your baseball glove is to wrap it up in a towel and sleep with it under your mattress. This is so that the glove softens and the leather is more pliable. There are many other tricks that baseball players use to make their new glove more suitable to their hands. In most cases, no matter what you do, it's just a matter of time before your new glove starts feeling like an old friend. About the Author Where can I buy a baseball glove that fits my 4 year old left handed son? My four year old son is left handed and loves baseball. I've been everywhere and cannot find a baseball glove in his size made for left handers. He throws the ball with his left hand so he would need a glove to wear on his right hand. Does anyone know where I could possibly buy one online or anywhere?
We bought our 5 year old a 9" glove at Academy Sports and Outdoors. There is also a good selection at Dick's Sporting Goods if you have one in your area. I recommend Academy. His next glove we got off of Craigslist, because I was looking for a used one .. that way they don't have a hard time breaking it in. Their hands are sometimes too small to close it enough to really break it in good. I still do lots of barehanded catch with my son though. Just a tennis ball. It gets him to practice using both hands in a catch. Baseball. Owls Wrap-Up Homestand Tuesday vs. Crosstown Rival Houston At 4 PM Thanks for visiting!
