How can you make a messenger bag out of a long sleeved t-shirt?

I have searched for this craft in google and youtube and have failed to find an answer. I want a messenger bag though, not a tote, book bag, purse, etc.

Im pretty sure you can do this, but you will need some creativity, and MAYBE another long sleeve T-shirt. I have never personally done this before, but I have the general Idea of how to. Bear with me as I try to explain how to. You will need a sewing machine, some pins, and scissors. first you will probably want to cut off the sleeves of the shirt/s. set them aside. cut the top off of the shirt (where the neck is- just cut right below the neck so it is a straight line. Flip it inside out and sew the bottom together and then it should be looking more like tote. Now take the other shirt and cut the top off also. sew all around it to make it a nice even close. now sew this to the back of the tote like back to make the flap. now you take the sleeves and sew the ends together on one part, and sew the other ends to the sides of the bag. for a more creative look you could just tie the sleeves together and sew the other ends to the sides of the bag.
