How do you clean a light color canvas bag & wallet?

I received a gucci light pink canvas bag & wallet as a present, and after 3 months of using it, it looks like i've had it forever!
It's canvas body with white leather strap and base. I've taken it to the dry cleaners and they said it will be hard to clean and they cannot help. I've tried baby wipes on it, and that doesn't do much.
