Can wear a light blue bag with a brown handle with black?

I wear mostly black pants, suits to work etc... I love this bag but I want to make sure I could wear it to work so if I can't wear it with black its really not an option. The woman at the store said she thought I could because of the solid blue color but I don't really trust sales people. Please help?

That is a real minor detail - you can wear it with black. I honestly think that more people will make comments on how cute your bag is than 'oh my gosh she's wearing black with brown' = its not like you're wearing brown shoes with a black suit!
