Worldwide trip?
I am looking into doing a trip for up to 6 months seeing and doing everything I can. I have backpacked through most of Western Europe and lived and traveled somewhat extensively through Australia and the South Pacific, so I have some experience. How do I go about researching "worldwide" airplane tickets that wouldn't completely break my alloted budget? And, with about 200 counties, how would I even begin to pick the best? Has anyone done extensive worldwide trips and would like to share their itinerary or suggestions? Thank you, I look forward to your advice.
You can't possibly travel 200 countries in 6 months. You have only 182 or 183 days to travel. You want to stay at least couple days in each country in order for you to see and understand a little bit about their culture. Start with the country to like the most and go from there. If you already backpacked and have experience, you should know how to find out airplane tickets without any problems.
My 2 brothers traveled each year for 30 days. They can only travel 4 or 5 countries at a time.
