Is there a point in buying a Baby Sleeping Bag/Grobag in size 18-36mths????

My sister has bought 4 sleeping bags/baby gro bags for her baby who is due soon. Two are in size 0-6mths and 6- 18mths and in 1 tog and the other two are in sizes 0-6mths and 6-18mths and in 2.5 tog.

Firstly, relating to the tog, make sure she is getting the togs relevant to the seasons! EG: For the warmer months in summer, she will need only a 1 tog for any aged baby, and in the colder winter months she will need a 2.5 tog! There should be a guide on the back anyway for temperatures and what the baby should have on etc!

Secondly, it really depends on the baby to be honest! Some prefer only to have their children in grobags as they beat the habbit of the baby kicking off their covers constantly haha!

But you are right about them being able to have a proper duvet from 12 months! What I would say, is if she has the receipt I would take the biggest size back, and as they are always in stock, see how her baby is when it gets older, and then if she decides to buy them she can!
