Nike Air Max is a shoe by the company Nike that was introduced in 1987 as the first example of Air Max-branded technologies. The Nike Air Max shoe uses a large air cushioning unit which is visible at the side of the midsole in most models. My wife uses a air cushion on her wheelchair (ROHO). Anyone know of a really strong cover for the cushions?

We need to cat-proof it. We have several cats, all of which have their claws.
Just to clarify, I have surfed the net and found several productions. However, none of them specify that they can stand up to cat claws. I am looking for reccomendations from people that have experience with this.

I've worked with Rohos and chairs for 15 years. A 'cat-proof' cover would be so thick and tough that it would counteract the purpose of the cushion.

The cheapest option would probably be to switch to a less vulnerable cushion. Stimulites (http://www.sportaid.com/catalog/page48a.shtml) or Vicairs (http://www.medifixservices.ie/medifix/main/2006-SS-Vicair-Vector.htm) can accomplish most of the benefits of Rohos, and in many situations, offer better support.

(Note- I REALLY like properly set-up Vicairs.)
